As someone that works with puppies all the time, specifically Doodles, I know it can be hard to keep our dogs; fluffy, pretty and presentable.
So...after years of trying multiple different products, here's what I've found to be the easiest and fastest way to keep my pups clean and pretty.
When washing our pups, I begin by soaking their hair in water, then I scrub their whole body in the "Odele Clarifying Shampoo". Clarifying shampoo is a deeper cleanser than just shampoo. It strips the hair of its natural oils and gunk.

After getting all the clarifying shampoo out of the dogs hair, we follow with "Native Hair Care, Citrus & Herbal Musk, Daily Clean Shampoo". I have found that using this shampoo helps clean the hair after it has been stripped of the oils and gunk. It adds another level of cleanliness, and I love the subtle but good smell.

Once their hair is all clean, I add a generous amount of "Native Hair Care, Citrus & Herbal Musk, Daily Clean Conditioner" all throughout their body. I have found that using this after deep cleaning their hair, makes it so I don't have to brush their hair before a bath.I personally hate having to brush the dogs before and/or after I wash them. This Conditioner also gets rid of most knots in their hair, making it perfect for a haircut afterward.

As soon as I dry the dogs hair off with a towel, I rub them down with Bain De Terre hair oil. I specifically add 1-3 pumps of oil to their back, 1 pump on their head and then 1-3 to their tail. Their tail specifically needs it most, it helps it not get so matted.

I have found that drying their hair with this pet blow dryer does wonders. Not only does its dry the hair, it also helps get rid of the matted spots in their hair.
I begin by drying their hair the opposite way the hair naturally grows. For example, start drying their hair on the back, from the tail, this way it gets the hair dry and the knots out.

I personally hate brushing my dogs, that's why I wash them somewhat frequently. I normally wash them before their haircuts. If need be, we brush them with a comb. When brushing with a comb, it allows you to get down to the root of the hair, thus allowing you to get the knot brushed out.

When we clip our dogs hair, we use the Oster Golden A5. We use 4 different sizes/lengths.
For their normal body cut we use a number 4 blade, for the upper half of their legs a number 5 blade, for the lower half a number 7 blade, and then for the sanitary cut a number 10 blade.
Then, to keep the blades clean, we use Andis Cool Care. It works as a coolant, disinfectant, lubricant, cleaner, and a rust preventer.

When we clip the dogs nails, we begin by using Large Dog Nail Clippers. Once we've clipped the dogs nails, we use a deremmel sander head, to sand their nails down to create a smoother nail. This makes their nails smooth so if they scratch anything or anyone, it's not a deep scratch.

I know that some of these things can be quite spendy, but I promise you, it's worth it. I haven't found any other routine that has helped get the knots and matts out of their hair. This one works and is healthy for their hair and skin. I've been trying to find the perfect balance and routine when it comes to bathing our dogs...this is it.
I hope this helps! Good Luck!
